Our Story
Eric and Donna Leitten are a husband and wife team that have been involved in the vacation rental space for some time. Eric started in property management in 2014, working up to a 200 unit short term rental portfolio for one of the area’s largest managers, he eventually went on to become a licensed agent focusing mainly on the local resort market from Panama City Beach to Destin, Florida. Donna dedicated her early years in the medical field helping others and making a positive impact on people’s lives. Her dedication in this field were evident as she worked to provide quality care and support to those in need. In 2014, Donna and her sister embarked on a new venture, they founded a cleaning company on Okaloosa Island, providing exceptional cleaning services. Together they built a reputation for their attention to detail, reliability and customer satisfaction. As time passed, Donna’s interest expanded and she found herself drawn to the hospitality industry. Recognizing the growing demand for vacation rentals, she decided to leverage her skills and experience to establish her own vacation rental company. In 2021, Eric and Donna started their own Vacation rental company, What’s Up Beach, LLC. Together, they curated an impressive portfolio of properties that caters to various vacation preferences and needs. What’s Up Beach brings a unique perspective to the vacation rental business, prioritizing cleanliness, safety, customer satisfaction and owner relationships above all else.
